Hi and thank you for the invite to the group my name is David I got interested in CB radio when they first started coming into the UK many years ago a friend of mine was a lorry driver he had one fitted in his truck I asked him could you get me one and that was the start of it I set it up in the house and then went mobile it was great because anybody that seen you with a CB aerial was shouting for you and you got talking back to them I am now a lorry driver myself for many years I still have cb in the truck and I am getting a crt 9900 next week so looking forward to see how I get on with it with the different modes that will be new to me Could I please request a callsign sorry my QTH is derby Many thanks Dave
