Hello all! My name is Brent and I am from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan but will be spending most of my time in Guatemala enjoying retirement. I fell in love with CB radio back in the 70’s and even met a few sweethearts over the air! Good times! I joined the Air Force in the 80’s working with ground to air radio and HF radio systems as well. One of the guys in my shop showed me a CB radio with what he called “Funny” channels. I was hooked on CB once again and picked up a Cobra 146GTL, added some channels and made contact with many countries out of my 1979 Honda Civic with a 106 inch whip antenna! What a sight! Well, I brought my Midland 79-290 down here and made a 1/4 wave ground plane antenna out of our old satellite dish! Hoping to make some contacts from here. I would greatly appreciate it if I could be given an official call sign from the Charlie Tango group!
