Good evening, I have only recently been made aware of the Sunday night 8pm chan 8 pmr nets (From the YouTube radio amateur Lewis / Ringway Manchester) so ive only caught the last two. They have been quite lively too! I am Swansea based but through the week i work away in the lorry so i could be in Wales England or Scotland. I would like a CT callsign and i have joined this board to learn more from other users. I passed the HAM license exam yesterday at home, i trained via Essex ham's brilliant online course. Shout out to Pete and the gang. Big thanks to them! At the moment i have only handheld units, a Retevis rb615, Baofeng t1, Baofeng f8+III (uv-5r variant). I would like to see what I get out of these radios before i invest in a better handheld but have my eye on a few options.
