| Good morning everyone
This is Paul from Essex. Thank you for allowing me to join.
My life seems to revolve around radio. I have been a licenced Radio Amateur since 1988. At that time I was the youngest member of my club at 16 years old. I went on to work in Broadcasting and served for 8 years in the RAF.
I’m no longer in the military and now focus on Broadcasting, Ham Radio, Writing. I’m part of the Essex Ham team and enjoy helping out new people to the hobby.
Some of you may know me through my book and Facebook group PrepComms UK. An even bigger hi if I know you from there.
I also enjoy wild camping, Bushcraft and prepping.
My radio interests mainly revolve around digital modes likes , DMR, DSTAR and Fusion. I also enjoy 446 and am often on top of my nearby hill on a Sunday night at 8.
If the admins see fit to issue me with a callsign, I would be grateful.
