Subject: New callsign for Pedlar (Issued) Wed Jul 22, 2020 3:06 pm
Hello
Stumbling around the internet has led me to this group and revived my interest in CB radio. It looks very different now to when I was first "on-air" in the '80s, mobile and enthusiastic. Now thanks to a "gammie" leg and now creeping into my early 70's I am thinking of setting up again but this time "Home Based" for CB's social value (I'm Home Alone all day while my wife works to try and keep me in the manner to which I'd like to become accustomed) rather than a huge technical interest and ability .... which I certainly do not have at all, but then again you don't have to be able to build a Ferrari to enjoy driving it! I would also like to allow myself a DX facility so I guess that means SSB, which to be honest is as much a mystery to me as that Ferrari engine! So that's me starting on a journey. I will be asking some really daft questions.....PLEASE be patient and understanding
Anthony

Hi Anthony,
Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.
We're all a helpful bunch here and happy to help anybody when we can. So you fire away with those questions and remember the only daft question is the one not asked
(Oh, make it obvious you want a callsign and our Mr Gary won't miss it!)

Sorry Anthony, just gonna pop a note here for our Mr Gary Wilson so there's no confusion on callsign request. Cheers.
Gary, Anthony's formal request is here but also has an introduction entitled "Back to the future" in the new member section. Just trying to help out so there's no confusion or double assignment.
