Hello. I'm a new member. Don't have a lot of experience in CB. Started in 1979 or so and haven't really done much for the last 20 years. Don't have any fancy equipment. Just an old Royce 23 channel CB. Am trying to get a base antenna up and working. Having problems with SWR readings but it is a work in progress. Lived half my life in Southeast Texas and came to Colorado in 1979. Worked in industrial instrumentation and held a Colorado Master Electricians license for a while until about 2007. Time will tell if I stay interested in this subject.

Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.
Had one or two old Royce CBs back in the day, both 23 channels and loved those little radios Sounds like you have an interesting background, so here's hoping you sort that SWR and get some good contacts on air.
