Hi John,
How many outputs do you need? How many rigs will be hooked up? Hard to give a recommendation otherwise
The only advice I can give is get the best one you can afford, (they range from £20 to over £100)
I have heard horror stories of cheaper units falling apart, switch contacts failing, (suppose that depends on how many times you flip the switch), and even arcing of the contacts. (The last is hard to understand, most are rated 500W and upwards!)
I've never heard of 'noise' issues though?!?
I suppose it's a case of you pays your money and takes your choice really. Personally I'd buy one from a reputable radio dealer for reassurance.
