Brilliant Craig and a very clear good signal,  excuse my ignorance I have had it explained to me a long while ago but I forgotten but what's it mean by long parth and short parth when using a beam antenna?.

Hey up Martin and hope all is well matey , Normally I would beam short path for New Zealand which for me is pointing the beam North east over or very near to the North Pole , on this occasion I couldn't hear him short path so swung the beam in the complete opposite direction, south west towards the southern most tip of South America  ( South Pole ) and up his signal came , will say that there is nothing short path in either direction when working New Zealand lol but one is a bit shorter than the other

Hi Tony yes been some good stuff floating about last few weeks
The Yagi is a Mosley MP-33-N  3 element tri bander , 20 /15 and 10m works really well and more than pleased with it
The mast is a 12m retractable box mast made by Cug masts up in Aberdeenshire

Love the Mosley, a very expensive bit of kit. Which box mast from Cug are you using Craig and do you crack it all
The way up in your new QTH?

Good video, Craig. 😎 The recieve on that radio sounds superb.👍

I really hope to get 41 div in the log this time around. I swl'd 41 div last cycle on the 450d with the Antron up. I had them at 5/5 no problem, just couldn't get back. I should of had the Super Yagi up.
