No your not. It will sink in but you might not think so. When you take the exam it will come back to you. I am in my 60's and dyslexic plus got very short term memory. Started the Essex ham course and a week later booked my exam. Start to finish 6 weeks and i passed. I doubted myself all the way but like i said it comes back when you read the questions. But read the questions twice and take your time.

The books basically useless anyway. I prefer learning by having someone talk to me or show me etc so the videos from Essex ham were an absolute god send! Much more easier to take in.

Have been reading the foundation book finding it hard to digest, got hamtrain course booked in for Sunday. Might be going to fast for my brain..
I used the Essex Ham videos (Binge watched them) - much easier to absorb the info.

You can get an App for your phone or ipad/tab for mock tests. The one i had was called "UK Amateur Radio Mock Tests".. Does all 3 levels and it's free but you do get some adverts. Not saying the will be the exact same questions but it will help as they will stick in the back of your memory.
