| Hi, I'm Paul based in Thanet on the Kent coast. It's been nearly 40 years since I was based in South London 'hunting the skip'. Since those days, I have moved my QTH down to the south coast (some years ago now), but sadly my beloved 148 got diverted to a CashConverters along the way.  I hope this new shiny crt ss6900n will prove be a half decent replacement? It feels good to be back. Please can I request a call sign. Thanks! | |

Shame about the 148 buddy I very much doubt that cash converters gave you the kind of money a good one is going for on ebay now!! Nevermind the the SS6900n is a respectable modern rig which no doubt will serve you well.

my 148 gtldx mk2 didn't escape me.she was locked away collecting dust for a lot of years.
a good service and she's good as new along with my sigma 4 looking as proud as she did back in the 80's.
